first day of being "momma"

1:yes, i was surprised by my moms response to the question 'What would you do if i was teen parent?' I knew my mom would help me, but i was surprised when she openly told me she would be highly disappointed in me. She has always been my support person, so i didn't know what to think. Then i realised she WAS a teen parent and considered she knew how hard it would be on me, and her disappointment might stem from me not being more careful and heeding her warnings...

2:my parents (read as mom) went crazy in all the specifics. When i told her i had to wait till the weekend to bath Elowen she said"You know you have to bath a baby more than once a week." she goes into the details (many of which i am already aware of) that would be needed to be done for a real baby, even if it isn't applicable or relevant to the flour baby or the conversation.

3: well i had already done the project before, so i had an idea about how i wanted to start this project. i had the recommended stuff and even a bit extra, as well as a carrier ( in this case a basket) and knew i wouldn't be able to leave Elowen alone for long. though i did accidentally increase her chance of SIDS by having her sleep in my bed...

4: i never really thought of how much it cost to prepare for and take care of a child. my gosh formula is expensive!!!
